Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), formerly the National Roads Authority (NRA) in collaboration with the local authorities throughout the country, are responsible for roads engineering and maintenance. As such, they are also in charge of setting speed limits and erecting road signage.
If you have a query or wish to report an issue relating to speed limits or road signage on a national road (e.g. motorway or dual-carriageway) please contact Transport Infrastructure Ireland.
For non-national roads (e.g. rural roads, towns etc.), please contact the local authority in whose jurisdiction the road or footpath lies.
