Cancelling your driving test

 

Please read the following information carefully before cancelling your test

Before cancelling your driving test be aware that you will forfeit your fee if:

  • You are cancelling a test for the third or subsequent time on the same application
  • You are not giving a minimum of 10 days notice
If you are cancelling your driving test in line with Government Guidelines (not an essential worker) due to Covid 19 Level 5 restrictions you will not forfeit your fee. Your application will still be valid and prioritised. Priority will be given in order of application date. Please note there is no need to contact us to schedule a test as we are unable to schedule tests over the phone or by email request. Instead we will contact you once we reach your date of application.

To use our cancellation service, you need to give us all the following information.

Failure to do so will result in your test not being cancelled and you will forfeit your fee.

  • Driver number (you can find this at 4 (d) (on the plastic licence or 5 on the paper licence) on your learner permit)
  • Application number (you can find this on your appointment letter/email)
  • Test Centre (you can find this on your appointment letter/email)
  • Test Date (you can find this on your appointment letter/email)

Please note that we are experiencing high demands at the moment and there is likely to be a lengthy delay before you receive a new test appointment.  We cannot reschedule / cancel appointments over the phone at present. 

If you have an appointment for a HGV and a CPC practical test then you need to cancel each test separately. Failure to do so will result in one of the tests not being cancelled and you will forfeit your fee.
