Once you have discussed and planned your training, your IBT instructor will give you a logbook. This should be signed, stamped, and dated at the end of each completed training module.

When you have successfully completed your training your IBT instructor will present you with a Certificate of Satisfactory Completion. You must keep this Certificate with your learner permit and carry it whenever riding as a member of An Garda Siochana may ask for it to be produced. This is a valuable document and you should make a note of the serial number and date it was issued in case it gets lost or damaged.
