59 People Killed & Seriously Injured in Easter Crashes

A total of 59 people have been killed and seriously injured in Easter Bank Holiday crashes since 2012 according to figures released by the Road safety Authority (RSA) and An Garda Síochána, who have issued their 2018 Easter Bank Holiday road safety message, today Thursday 29 April.

Fines totalling €11,000 for two road passenger bus operators for breach of road safety regulations

Following investigations by the Road Safety Authority (RSA), both Citi Bus Limited and Last Bus Limited of Moorhill House, Brannockstown, Co Kildare trading as Dublin Coach were before Naas District Court for breaches of tachograph and drivers’ hours regulations.

The oil industry has requested an extension to the exceptional and limited relaxation of the EU Driver’s Hours rules granted by the Road Safety Authority (RSA) covering the distribution of fuel oil, petroleum related products and domestic heating products until 11 March 2018.
