The Road Safety Authority (RSA) is advising all road users today to take extreme care when using the roads as Met Éireann has issued an orange weather alert warning of winds of speeds of 65 to 80 km/h and will gust between 110 and 130 km/h in Munster, Leinster, Galway and Roscommon areas.

11 November 2015: The Road Safety Authority (RSA) is advising all road users today to take extreme care when using the roads as Met Éireann has issued a weather alert warning of winds of up to speeds of 55 to 80 km/h and will gust between 100 and 120 km/h in Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo
. Winds will be strongest near coastal areas, peaking Thursday evening into early Thursday night.
