Gowan Distributors Limited recalls certain Peugeot vehicles

Gowan Distributors Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of a number of Peugeot 3008 vehicles.

A safety issue has been identified whereby a welding defect may, under severe conditions, result in the trailer-hitch system breaking. The trailer hitch might become detached from the vehicle, leading to the possible loss of the trailer, caravan or bicycle carrier.

There are 50 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 07 September 2020 to 07 January 2021.
