Road Safety Authority PhD Research Bursary Award 2017

Call for Proposals

In the Government Road Safety Strategy 2013-2020, the RSA is committed to the development of a long-term research programme. The RSA invites proposals for one specific PhD/bursary award commencing in Spring 2017 (or earlier if possible).

Students in universities or other equivalent research institutions with an undergraduate or Masters degree in a relevant discipline wishing to undertake a PhD in road safety are invited to apply. This bursary award accepts research on any of the road user groups such as drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, children or older people.

The application must be made in conjunction with a third level institution in the Republic of Ireland with a proven track record in the selected area.
