Cavan Institute of Further Education

Cavan Institute of Further Education will be hosting the Shuttle to demonstrate good driving behaviour to the students and allow visitors to test their skills to drive a motorcycle and a bicycle. The Rollover team will also be on site explaining the importance of wearing the seat belt properly.

St. Mary's College

Students at St. Mary’s College in Newport will have the Shuttle for the day. While they are on board, they can challenge themselves on our brake reaction timer, practice their driver theory test and experience what it is like to fall asleep at the wheel and texting while driving in our virtual reality simulator. The RSA team is available for advice.

St. Benildus College

St. Benildus College in Dublin will welcome the Shuttle for all the students in, throughout the day. In our rollover simulator they can experience firsthand how the seatbelt can save us in a serious crash and on board they can witness the effects of driver fatigue and driver distraction while driving. The RSA education team will be offering guidance throughout the event.

RIAC Classic Car Show

The shuttle will once again be held in the prestigious Royal Dublin Society’s Simmounscourt Hall at Ballsbridge, Dublin at the 4th RIAC National Classic Car Show for two days. While onboard, our team of educators will facilitate discussion on the killer behaviours on Irish roads and participants can feel the effects of falling asleep or texting at the wheel with our virtual reality experience.

Sligo IT

The Shuttle makes its way to Sligo where the students of Sligo IT can take on the roll over experience, which they won’t forget in a hurry. They can also interact with all of the on board simulators including car and motorbike simulators. Road Safety Educators will be on board taking questions and offering advice.

Rosses Community School Event

The Shuttle and Roll Over will be present in Donegal to raise awareness about road safety and promote steps that everyone can take to stop these needless deaths and injuries year-round. The students at Rosses Community School can feel the effects of falling asleep or texting at the wheel with our virtual reality experience.

Up-Skill Training Centre

The RSA Shuttle will be joining the team at Up-Skill in Donegal to showcase the various simulators. While on board participants can test their driving skills and gain a greater understanding of dangerous driver behaviour on our roads. As always the roll over team will be joining the Shuttle showing why wearing your seatbelt could save your life.

Mulroy College

The Shuttle and Rollover team will be in Mulroy College to warn students on road safety. They will learn about killer behaviours on Irish Roads by trying the different simulators that we have on board.

Confey College

The Shuttle team will take the opportunity to emphasize safe driving to students at St. Brigid’s College. Visitors can try our virtual reality experience or test their riding skills on our motorbike simulator.

Location: Dundalk, Co. Louth

Dundalk Institute of Technology

The Shuttle and Roll Over team will be in attendance the Dundalk Institute of Technology for two days to meet any student who wishes to learn about the risks of driver fatigue, distraction and the importance of your seatbelt in a crash.
